No, I don’t want to be a teacher. I would rather choose to be an AI engineer or programmer. Because I can easily gain the knowledge of the textbook but I can’t explain it clearly to others.

Yes, I do have a favorite teacher, who teaches Chemistry and makes the subject plain and easy to learn. She always tell me some vivid examples regarding the experiment, which is easy to memorize. It brings out the best in me, so I’m grateful for all the effort she paid for me.

When I got a awful grade in Chemistry test, she always took me to her office and support me. When I calmed down, she analysed the test paper with me and let me know in which aspect could I improve more, which gave me great assist.

Yes, I do have a teacher I still remember, who is my math teacher in my junior high school. I can still recall her because she thinks I’m a very smart student and can have great success in the future, whose words encourages me a lot. She is an old lady who has already retired but still teaches math in my school year after year. I respect her very much and always go back to my high school to visit her.
5. Are you still in touch with your primary school teachers?
Yes, I contact with my elementary school teacher on Wechat very often. The Chinese teacher has give me advice on my career since grade 1. I always ask her about which option I should choose when I’m hard to decide. And she will ask me several questions and make it clear what will happen when I choose either side. So we chat a lot and she do me a lot of favor in my teenage.

Yes, I had a bike during my childhood, which had 4 wheels. It could protect me from falling off the bike, and made me fully prepared for the future riding with 2 wheels bike.

Yes, I have a bike in the campus. It’s very helpful since my university has a great area. It will take me a long time to walk from one building to another if I don’t have a bike.

Yes, of course. I rode bikes in my early teenage. I have been a big fan of cycling since my childhood, which can give me a sense of freedom, since I can serge really fast on the road and feel the wind blows by. It’s so enjoyable that I can also see different scenery along my path.

My mother always has strong opinions on my hobbies and lifestyles.
First, She thinks it’s a waste of money and time to collect some little items such as superhero models. I’m keen on it because it can make me feel happy and relaxed. It’s a wonderful place where I can relax my soul and participate in the unrealistic world.
Second, she thinks it’s weird and harmful that I always take my phone with me, which should be avoided. In my perspective, when I’m alone I can just contact with my girl friend and my family members through social media. Also, If I don’t take my phone with me I could miss some important messages from school.
Lastly, she thinks no matter what I have to do, I shouldn’t go to bed after midnight. It damages my body. I agree with it but I do have homework and Something I enjoy to do. I can sleep longer in the morning or next day.
I have a complex feeling about it, because I know she wants to make me have a better life. But it’s not the best life in my sight. So I insist to have the hobbies and the lifestyle as usual. I wish there’s a time she can understand me.

Young people strongly consider about the freedom and recreation they gain. Since the environment they grow up is much better than the last generation, making a living is not the most important topic they talk about. They get more open-minded and requires more mental satisfication. So they create more games, more recreational stuffs, and want to be free to enjoy their lifes.
2. What do old people have strong opinions about?
Old people have more opinions on the health conditions and ordinary lifestyle. Elderly doesn’t have the world as convenient as today, so they need to think about how to earn a living. They care more about their body condition rather than mental feelings. And they tend to have a stable life which can make them feel comfortable and unworried.
3. Are there many young people who have strong opinions in our lives?
Yes, as far as I know, there are many young people who express strong opinions nowadays. I can see many teenagers argue intensively on the Internet in many aspect. For example, which flavor is better in porridge, sweet or salty, Both side of which have strong support. So it’s obvious that young people have great opinions.
4. Which is more important, listening to others or persuading others?
In my case, listening is more important. I believe everyone isn’t perfect, so it’s important to absorb other’s opinions which make us improve. So everytime I disagree with others argument, I listen to them first and think about it for a while. After that, I decide whether I should persuade the person.
5. Do you think we should only say something after thinking it through?
Yes I regard it as a great virtue everyone should gain. There’s a saying, the words spoken out is like the water poured out where has no chance to retry. It does harm the person you speak with if your word is horrible, no matter what you say after it. I always think thoroughly before I speak out my word, which lessens misunderstanding greatly.
6. Do you think it is good to have strong opinions?
Yes, I think it’s good to have strong ideas. It means that we are confident about ourselves, which is a great step towards success, which also helps us build up self-esteem. So it’s really important to do so.

Part 2
I want to talk about my best friend Peter, who is my primary school classmates and likes reading books a lot. We knew each other because we were both keen on some topics. After that we began to read together. He has read many books and articles, among which, science fictions and poems are his favorite.
He have interests with books for many reasons.
First, reading can bring him to another world which is paralleled to the reality but not the same. It’s exciting to explore a world one have never been to before.
Second, he learns many stories, and experiences from the books. Through these acquisitions, he can conclude a way to live by himself, which is an important class in life.
Third, relaxation is the best thing he can get from reading, especially after a whole day working.
In the future, we may reading more books together and discuss the benefit of reading.

There are many different reasons why people like to read. First, one can experience a totally different life from their own’s or get into a different world from the reality, which is impressive. Second, reading gives us an opportunity to learn what we can’t touch in our school. Learning is a life long process which shouldn’t be just in school.
2. Do you think parents should help their children develop the reading habit from an early age?
Yes, i believe parents should assist children to acquaint a good reading skill in early age. It is because that we need to read a lot of stuffs throughout our lives, no matter when we study or work. For examples, we have to read essays in university for academic progress. If we obtain efficient readings skills in early age, we can save much time.
3. Is reading for fun or for work? (Giving opinions 观点类)
Reading is for fun. I always reading different fictions, since they can give me a great sense of joy and entertainment. For examples, magic, science is my favorite topics and Harry potter is the best story I have ever read, the plot in which always makes me excited.

Love is the most popular topics in reading in China. There are substantial books in the market telling about the relationships and love stories happened between several men and women. In my perspective, most of them are awful but one or two among them really tell a impressive story.
5. What are the differences between paper books and movies? (Comparing 对比类)
The most obvious difference is paper books are only composed by words and sentences, but the movie is mostly videos to show the story. In my perspective, for same story, books is better than movie. Because it leaves me some space to imagine the scenes. But the movie just show the certain circumstances to me, which narrows the space for imagination.
6. Do you think people of all ages need to read? (Giving opinions 观点类)
Yes, I think reading in different ages can attain various experiences. For examples, we have great imagination during our childhood. And when we are old we can feel relaxation when we read some poems or fictions. It has multiple benefits for each age to read.
Describe an old friend you had lost touch with and got in contact with again
Part 2
I’m going to talk about a friend I hadn’t seen for a long time but we met each other a few days before. It’s my classmate in primary school called Peter, who is my best friend at that time.
We got to know each other since we both like to play basketball and read books. We always read together and compete in basketball competition as teammates.
After the graduation of elementary school, he went to America to study there, but I still stay in Beijing. Because of the time we were awake are mostly different, we didn’t chat.
Just a few days ago, I surprisingly met him somewhere near my primary school. He looks surprised too. We had a lunch together and talked about what we go through in the past few years, and he told me he came back to Beijing to take course in Peking University. It’s so amazing that our colleges are near to each other. So we can eat together, read together, play basketball together in the future.
I feel extremely delighted to have my best friend with me again.

It’s better to have more friends. we can get more information and ideas from our friends. With more friends we can not only develop our social skills, but also expose ourselves to newest information which we may not get by ourselves.

Yes, it would limit my horizon. We can learn a lot of ideas from our friends especially from those who grow up in an environment that is different from our own’s. If we have less friends, we may consider some problems in a narrow perspective rather than a wider on. We can think outside the box if we have more friends.

Yes, I believe I’m good at it. I have not only empathy towards my friends, but also various methods to solve problems and conflicts properly. For example, when my friends are mad at me, I would first calm them down and then ask them what manner of mine makes them unhappy. After that, I would apologize for my deed.
4. Why do old friends lose touch with each other? (Reasons 原因类)
There are many factors impacting the relationships. Firstly, the remote distance prevents friends from contacting each other. Secondly, we may lose topics as we take jobs or courses that are different from our friends. Lastly, there will come up with many aspects that are more important than friendship after our maturity, such as our own family and our jobs.

It’s mainly for two reasons. First, we will lose friends naturally throughout our lives, so it’s necessary to build new friendship. Also, in the different sections of our lives, we should participate in new social networks and expose ourselves to new ideas.

It’s a natural process to lessen connection with them. We will not only struggle to keep in touch with them, but also suffer from the disappointment we get from this relationship, so the best way is to let it go.
Describe your favourite food at a traditional festival or a special event in your country
Part 2
I want to talk about hot pot, which is my favorite food in family reunion day in winter.
My family and I usually eat it, when all the family members congregate at home. We consider it as a symbol of prosperity.
The most flavor we use is tomato taste, since it’s tasty, healthy and both elders and children love it.
We usually put tomatoes into the pot full of water and heat it up until it’s boiled. After that we put some meats and vegetables in the pot. When it’s cooked, we place the food on some plates then we can eat it together.
